Registration information
Registration Guideline:
Register to the on-line registration system provided by the gReception on-line system. If you are using gReception for the first time, you will be asked to register as a user by providing your contact e-mail address. A validation e-mail will then be sent to you to complete the user registration. During the registration process, you will be asked to insert your password (the same for registration and abstract submission).
Fill in the 16MCM registration form and choose the type of registration fee.
Proceed to the registration fee payment- you will be redirected to proceed with your payment to complete the registration. Your registration fee payment will be processed via the payment gate of the 16MCM contractual partner, Mikroskopie s.r.o. – an official service provider authorized by the 16MCM local organizer.
A registration and payment confirmation will be sent to your e-mail: Registration confirmation from the e-mail address “gReception”

Abstract Submission
Guideline:
Select a session in which you want to place your abstract.
The parameters for the abstract are as follows:
• Title of the presentation (max 160 characters including spaces)
• List of authors and their affiliations (max 400 characters including spaces)
• Abstract including references (2800 characters including spaces)
• Acknowledgements (max. 160 characters including spaces)
• Figures – max 4 files (supported formats: JPG, PNG max size of a file: 2 MB)
• Figures captions (max 350 characters including spaces each)
Please note that the authors are responsible both for the scientific content and grammar.
Authors who submit their abstracts within standard deadlines will be notified about the acceptance of their abstracts by 1 June 2022. One submitted abstract can have up to 2 pages (first page for the text, second page for inserted images).
All received abstracts are reviewed and evaluated by the international evaluation board. The acceptance of abstract does not imply any financial assistance or fee deduction. The presenting authors are requested to register and pay the Congress registration fee.
There will be no printed copies at the Congress, only an on-line Book of Abstracts will be published.

Scholarship
EMS scholarships: the European Microscopy Society (EMS) supports young researchers with scholarships of 300 EUR each for the participation at the 16MCM that was selected as the EMC Extension for 2022. Please note that only EMS members are eligible for the EMS scholarships. The deadline for submitting an application is 12 April 2022. More information and link for the application can be found here.
MCM scholarships: scholarships of 300 EUR each for students – members of societies of the MCM consortium except the hosting CSMS (i.e. Austrian Society for Electron Microscopy (ASEM), Croatian Microscopy Society (CMS), Hungarian Society of Microscopical Sciences (HSM), Slovenian Society for Microscopy (SDM), Italian Society of Microscopical Sciences (SISM), Serbian Society for Microscopy (SSM), and Turkish Society for Electron Microscopy (TEMD)). CSMS scholarships: the Czechoslovak Microscopy Society (CSMS) supports young researchers, members of CSMS, by scholarship of 200 EUR each for attending 16MCM. The deadline for submitting an application is 12 April 2022. More

Payment Conditions
Registration fees must be paid in EUR. Credit card payment is recommended.
Bank transfer is also available. All payements must be completed by 30 June 2022.
For credit or debit card payments, please use the Online Payment System. The system is accessible with the password that you received upon registration. The system accepts the following credit/debit cards: MasterCard/Eurocard, Visa and Diners Club.
The final invoice will be sent in 7 days after your registration from the system called I – doklad. (email: neodpovidat@idoklad.cz)
Bank transfer payment – the invoice number (variable symbol) must be included.

Cancellation Policy
The PCO must be notified in writing by email at info@16mcm.cz in the event of the cancellation of the registration. Cancellation by phone call will not be accepted. The appropriate refunds will be made after the Conference.

In case of any change in registration the PCO reserves the right to charge a 20 EUR handling fee.
If you can not attend, you will be given the opportunity to replacement. A handling fee of 30 EUR will be charged for each name change. Name changes should be reported by email to PCO to email payment@16mcm.cz (title „name change“). No name change will be possible after the closing the registration (date).
